Business IntraLATA Service

IntraLATA calls (also known as regional toll calls) are calls that are placed outside
your company's local calling area. Typically, these calls are placed to locations
outside a 16-mile radius of your office, but they are still within your business's local
phone company's service area. Until recently, only your local phone company could
carry these calls. Due to recent changes in telecommunications technology and
regulations, your company can now choose to have CA Affinity service these calls.

If CA Affinity's intraLATA service is not available in my company's area, is there
a way to request that CA Affinity service my regional toll calls?

If you are currently an CA Affinity customer, you can bypass your local telephone company
and complete an intraLATA call using CA Affinity. Contact us or call 1-800-964-3863 for
detailed dialing instructions.

If my company uses CA Affinity, will I get a separate bill for my intraLATA calls?
No. With CA Affinity, your intraLATA calls are conveniently billed along with all your other
CA Affinity calls.

If CA Affinity services my business's intraLATA calls, will we still need local
telephone service?

Yes. You must use your local telephone company for local service, which includes call
waiting and other features. Your local phone company provides basic services like giving
you a dial tone so you are able to place and receive calls.
